Your chance to take on the runway at Coota
Welcome to Runway Thrash, where any car is welcome to hit the famous Cootamundra Airstrip.
IT’S the only event on the Cootamundra calendar which is non-invitational and not subject to car criteria or application. Anyone is welcome to enter to just enjoy some fun racing and a weekend with mates.
This event is all about having a great time. As long as your car is registered and adheres to our safety guidelines, any make and model is welcome to join the party.

Cootamundra, NSW is approximately a
4-hour drive from Sydney and just 30 minutes from the Hume Highway.
THE TOWN, AFFECTIONATELY KNOWN AS ‘COOTA’ IS HOME TO ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S OLDEST ACTIVE AIRPORTS.
ITS RUNWAY HAS BEEN HOME TO DRAG RACING EVENTS SINCE 2012 AND HAS ACHIEVED A CULT FOLLOWING AND INTERNATIONAL FAME AND COVERAGE.
